Have you ever forgotten your Excel workbook or sheet password?
Here you can download a FREE Excel add-in that removes/cracks sheet and workbook password protection in Excel®.
NB! This program can’t remove file protection, i.e. if you are unable to open the file, this program won’t help you.
For 97/2000/XP/2003-files I can recommend this one: Excel Password Recovery Lastic. You could also try Excel Key to remove file protection.

This Excel add-in works fine in Excel 2007 and Excel 2010. Only the PRO version works on the Mac, and on older Excel versions. Only the PRO 2019 version will work on workbooks where the protection is applied in Excel 2013 or later, read more here.
This program will remove passwords of any length, also passwords containing special characters.

If you try installing Excel Password Remover in “Add-ins..” you get a “… is not a valid add-in” message, but do this instead:
Excel Password Remover can be installed as an add-in by placing it in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\XLSTART folder (Excel 2010). For Excel 2007 it should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\XLSTART
